Yes this pump will add about 40 psi to the city pressure

Can I connect in this way.......outdoor water spigot / hose/ this booster pump/ hose to irrigation system? I need to increase the pressure at the sprinkler heads. The irrigation system has only one head per valve and waters only one head at a time. The city pressure is crap and/or the plumbing to outdoor spigot is crap. Need to find a solution. I can cover to protect from elements if that's an issue since it will be outside.
