The hose barbs are easily changed if your hose sizes are different.
The different sizes make it easier to identify the hoses and
also to draw the desired ratio of
Water (3/4 inch line)
SH (Bleach) (1/2 inch line)
Surfactant (3/8 inch line)
Water gets the largest hose as most of the time there is more water than SH.
IE: House Wash targeting a 1% mix
vs Roof Wash at a 3 to 5% mix
Your 50% Water to 50% mix is a hotter mix for stubborn staining and you will still want to draw some amount of surfactant into the stream.
When drawing the Surfactant into the stream you want a smaller hose line to more easily adjust the small amount of surfactant added to the stream, the smaller diameter hose allows the surfactant to be drawn more quickly and with less draw suction into the output stream.
Similar for the SH, the 1.2 inch line makes it easier to draw the SH into the stream.
The different sizes help identify the hoses and also allows for better adjustability of the dosing for the mixing of the liquids,.
The hose barbs are easy to change to other sizes based upon operator experience or potentially the hose sizes already in place on the tanks.
