The height of the spray is dependent on several factors.
The Streaming tips can reach 25ft on average and can spray higher in perfect conditions or lower when the following factors are present:
1) Wind in the spraying area
4) The size of the nozzle used, the clever includes a 30 and 50 size streaming spray tip, The size 30 tip is less mixture volume and the size 50 offer more fluid flow.
The Streaming tips can reach 25ft on average and can spray higher in perfect conditions or lower when the following factors are present:
1) Wind in the spraying area
- Wind will quickly degrade the spraying stream, causing a shorter reach.
- Every 10 feet up from the Cleaver will reduce the reach of the spray by a few feet
- To counter this keep the cleaver near the operator, for instance when cleaning from lift put the clever in the basket, or on a taller building put the clevaer on the roof.
4) The size of the nozzle used, the clever includes a 30 and 50 size streaming spray tip, The size 30 tip is less mixture volume and the size 50 offer more fluid flow.
- The 30 Tip is easier to direct into tight spaces with less dripping to manage, for instance between rafter tails in the eaves.
- The 50 Tip sprays more volume and it easier to use to coat surfaces that are being cleaned when spraying at heights .
- Spray Tips rated in gallons per minute (GPM) at a specific pressure. A 30 size tip would flow at a rate of around 2 GPM at 50 psi, while a 50 size tip would flow at rate of around 3.5 GPM at 50 psi.
