It will get you to around 300psi in most situations,
This Regulator is meant to adjust pressure when using a device that needs a specific pressure like a Water Powered Brush
Note is you are using a wand
It is better to change your tip size if possible to regulate pressure
For instance when cleaning wood you should stay below 1000psi in pressure
For a 4 gallon per minute machine at 3400psi it would typically us a 3.5 or 4.0 tip size at that pressure
To get to 1000psi an 8 Tip size would be appropriate.
